If you need a larger dental procedure that over € 250 , - cost, you will receive a quote in advance. This way you know in advance where you stand.
What is covered by the insurance?
There is a difference between what is paid for children up to 18 years and what is reimbursed for adults. Costs for Youth (except crowns, bridges and orthodontics) will be fully reimbursed.
The majority of care for adults is not in the basic insurance. If you have taken out additional insurance, you can get a fee per treatment. The insurer determines the fees there. One insurer reimbursed all costs up to a certain amount, the other insurer reimburses a maximum reimbursement per treatment. This may mean that if a treatment is higher than the maximum fee, you, the patient must pay the difference. So look carefully at the fee for dental care in your insurance requirements. Can I find out beforehand how much I have to pay for treatment
Yes. At our practice website and in the waiting room, you will find the price list of our practice. tarievenlijst. The rates for dental care be established nationwide by the Dutch Healthcare Authority (NZa). This means that for every transaction a standard price has been agreed.

Than you have to pay directly after the treatment.

Terms and conditions of payment Fa-med
The payment process of Fa-med is as follows:
For paying your bills, we use a payment term of 30 days. You remain responsible at all times for payment within that period.
You can note the amount to bank account 62.70.00.800 in the name of Fa-med BV Amersfoort. Mentioned in (electronic) payment is always the payment reference.
If we have not received within 30 days after the invoice date, full payment, we will send you a reminder which also serves as notice. By means of the payment reminder we offer yet the opportunity within 10 days to comply noting amount to us.
If we have not received within 10 days of the date of the payment reminder your payment, you are in default. From that moment, we charge a fee. The extra costs are 15% of the invoice amount, with a minimum of € 40.00 plus statutory interest of consumers.
Your payment is intended primarily to reduce the costs, subsequently to reduce the interest and finally to reduce the principal.
All judicial and/or extrajudicial costs associated with the collection of the amounts declared for your account.
